So, the past couple days, things haven't been going my way. And I was about to worry that no good could come. Then, I remembered my Lenten promise - to not worry about things I can't control. And these bad things do not get better simply by worrying. So, I stepped back. Took a fresh perspective. And now, things are looking up. Things are looking very up, because not only do I have a prospective off-campus roommate, and a short(er) trip to see my family this Easter weekend, I also have an interview. And not just for any old job, but for an internship. With a design company. In Knoxville. This summer. Can. You. Dig. It? :D
It's not until Monday, so I have plenty of time to flip out and try not to worry, and then I have to remember not to hyperventilate when I speak to the OWNER of the company. Of course, it is on the phone, so I could just pass it off as bad reception. Unless she reads this. Drat. Anyway, I am very excited, and very glad to see that Lent has not let me down.
